Handmade in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains by Perry Holbrook, these little boxes are both art and function. An engineer by trade, Perry is self-taught in woodworking, metal-smithing, and glass. He uses his talents to blend those materials into small pieces of art that are truly unique. A multi-talented artist, Perry has been a full-time studio craftsman since 2002. Every box is completely handcrafted by him, limiting the number produced each year. Some of his boxes are carved out of a single piece of maple, others are turned on a lathe. Some use traditional woodworking methods, others are welded steel or hand forged copper.  Perry then creates a colorful glass tile to serve as the box top. An air bubble formed in the glass adds a little more interest.  Each box is lined to protect your delicate treasures.
