Born and raised in Seattle, Marc first became interested in ceramics at the early age of 15. While in high school, it was two "professional" pottery teachers, Regnor Reinholdston and Sam Scott who were his greatest inspiration.  Marc went on to attend the University of Washington where he continued to refine his distinct style of pottery design.

Marc is best known for his simplistic, delicate handthrown pieces. His use of glazing techniques transforms clay into a canvas suitable for setting off intense colors. The application of brilliant colors often makes his pieces look more like glass than cermic. 

In his endeavor to stimulate visual excitement Marc integrates color and abstract design on simple, yet elegant forms. Everyone will see something different in a piece, and Marc's goal is to create a contemporary look that is suitable and affordable for any home.

All of Marc's bowls and plates are finely crafted from high fired porcelain. Each beautifuln creation may be displayed on a table or hung on the wall.  A vinyl wrapped hanging loop is attached to the back of each piece.
