The handle of the knife is inlayed on both sides with Jet & Turquoise. The blade is Stainless steel.

Jet, a mineral from the American southwest is sometimes called black amber. It is prized for its mirror-deep reflections. It's neutral, jet-black color provides a popular accent stone.

Turquoise ranging in color from a deep blue to pale green comes from the American southwest and has been prized by many cultures including the Egyptians, Persians, Druids, Chinese, and American Indians.

About the Work

The 3" blade is made of 420 class modified high carbon stainless steel, arguably, the finest blade material available. It takes and holds a keen edge with a minimal amount of effort and maintenance. Characteristics of this steel include extremely high corrosion resistance (yes, even stainless steel can rust), high wear resistance, and good cutting qualities.
