- We include artist information for all items purchased online and in our gallery. Handcrafts are special. Each one represents someone’s passion. So it is nice to know whose hands have crafted your favorite piece! Pieces are signed by the artist.
- Handcrafts are original works of art. They are made individually. Variations in size, color and shape can occur from piece to piece. These variations make your piece unique and remind us that it is made by a real person and not stamped out of a machine.
- For glass, most of the images shown on the website are of the actual piece you will receive. In blown glass, tiny seed bubbles are common and do not detract from the value or beauty of the piece.
- Special orders are often possible for different colors, shapes and sizes. We often have selection in our store that is not on our web site. If you are not seeing what you like, please contact us directly.
- Sizes listed are approximate. If you have a very specific size requirement, please call us and we are happy to measure again.
We ship most domestic orders for FREE.
- Over-sized parcels or parcels requiring special handling will have the added fees included.
- The Shipper (By the Bay Gallery) will not be responsible for shipping charges on orders returned due to Customer error. Please be accurate & complete when entering your “Shipping Information” A customer who provides inaccurate information resulting in an order being returned as "undeliverable" will be charged the actual cost of shipping (minimum $15.00) plus a service fee of $20.00.
- Most shipments are sent UPS ground (or USPS, at our discretion) unless otherwise arranged. Please contact us for expedited shipping options.
- All purchases are shipped fully insured for the purchase price.
- Items valued at $1,000. USD or at the Shipper's descretion will be shipped "Signature Required".
- Please contact us for shipping quotes to international destinations. Any additional taxes and duties on international shipments are the responsibility of the buyer.
- California Sales Tax will be assessed at 7.5% on all orders shipped within the State of California.

Free Gift Wrapping
We offer free gift wrapping as a complimentary service on most items. Simply let us know during the checkout process if you would like your purchase gift wrapped. It will be boxed and wrapped in our all-occasion paper. Artist information will be included in the box and all price tags will be removed. We will be happy to include a personalized gift card with your message.
Internet Pricing and Availability
We do our best to keep our web site as up to date and accurate as possible. We are constantly updating our site to reflect our current inventory. As our inventory changes daily, we cannot guarantee that all merchandise online is available to ship immediately. We will promptly send a confirmation email for every order we receive and indicate approximate shipping times. If an item is available by special order and/or requires longer to ship, we will make every attempt to note that on the web site. If we anticipate delays beyond what is stated on the web site, we will contact you immediately and prior to charging your account. If an item is in stock, we will make every attempt to ship your order within 48 hours. We will not honor inaccurate prices due to typographical errors. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

Purchases made online may be returned for any reason within 10 days of receipt for a full refund issued to the original buyer. You are responsible for return shipping charges. Items returned, which were shipped to you at an "Oversized Rate" will incur an 8% deduction from the refund.
Please call us within 10 days from date your order was received for a Return Authorization number. You may then ship it back to us, postage paid and insured for the purchase price. All returns must be in the original packaging with the Return Authorization number printed clearly on the outside of the package, or they will not be accepted. Returns are inspected immediately upon receipt and your refund will be issued in the form that payment was received. The Return Authorization Number expires 10 days after date of issuance. After our authorized return period, you may choose to receive a full store credit or a refund less a 15% restocking fee. Special orders are not returnable. Layaway deposits are non-refundable.
Interest Free Layaway
We offer layaway as a complimentary service on all of our merchandise. We do not charge interest or other fees for using this service. It is a great way to budget your purchase while securing the exact piece that you want. To put any item on layaway, we ask for a 25% down payment. We then ask for a regular monthly payment on the balance. This can be made at a rate that is comfortable for you. We ask that the balance is paid within one year of the layaway date. At your request, we are happy to arrange an Automatic Monthly Payment on your debit or credit card. You may also mail a check or phone us each month with your payment. All layaway payments are non-refundable but can be applied to an exchange or store credit. Layaway purchases may only be returned for exchange or store credit. We hold all merchandise until completely paid for. Upon final payment, we can arrange for shipping or store pickup. Items on layaway are not eligible for free shipping.
