C.L Whiting has a passion for fine leather crafting and is inspired by the natural beauty of her childhood home in upstate New York.  After attending art school, C.L. had the opportunity to apprentice for a master Italian engraver who was impressed with her artistic skill and her appreciation of finely detailed tools.  

After years of study and countless hours of work, C.L. has made over 5000 hand made tools, painstakenly carved with leaf patterns in microscopic detail.  She embosses an entire hide with a combination of her tools to create unique, one of a kind patterns which are sewn with black garment leather into gorgeously luxurious bags and accessories.

Each bag features clever pockets and organizer details.  The brass hardware is USA made and sourced from small family companies. 

Suggested care includes rubbing your bag once a month with a small amount of petroleum jelly.
