Samuel Jewels is the succession of four generations who epitomize expert hand-crafted, old world artisanship. It began in the ancient Byzantine region of Turkey, recognized for many centuries as an area that cultivated exceptional hand-crafted metal work. There Samo Samuel was a silversmith who used his steady hand and keen eye to create flawless objects of art, providing his customers with an array of exceptional items ranging from tea sets to serving platters crafted from gold and silver.
Taught by Samo, the next generation to learn the trade, expanded on their knowledge and experties, branching out into the design and fabrication of fine jewelry. Today, some of the sons continue to work in the jewelry industry, overseeing all aspects from design to manufacturing of high fashion couture pieces, filigree, rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and the like. The third generation carries forth to the grandchildren of Samo. Once again, the new generation learned the trade from their fathers, developed their individual skills and found their own niches in the jewelry industry. Thirteen descendents of Samo still carry on the traditional family trade, where the Samuel family's direct involvement is as fundamental today as any time in their history.
Samuel Jewels, Inc. was founded by Steve Samuel, second generation, and Camille Samuel, third generation descendents. Immigrants from the Mardin region of Turkey, the two men with a trade and a dream set out to provide customers with an exceptional product. Determined to succeed, Steve and Camille settled in White Plains, NY, where at the time, they could not even speak English.
Today, with 100 years of combined jewelry knowledge and experience, Steve and Camille have established themselves as experts in hand fabricated gold and platinum wedding bands and exclusive fine jewelry designs. Unparalleled in knowledge, ability and execution, Samuel Jewels, Inc. has delivered product perfection and exceptional service to their customers for over thirty years.
