Gorgeous Large Collector's marble by Geoffrey Beetem. This beautiful marble features red, blue and burgundy rows of pulled glass cane swirled around a latticino core.  Size is 1 3/4" diameter.

About the work: Geoffrey is considered the premier master marble maker still working in the US today. He creates museum quality marbles using top quality glass canes handworked into contemporary patterns inspired by the traditional patterns used by master Venetian glass blowers. The patterns are Geoffrey's original designs and exclusive to his work. Each marble is signed by the artist.

Latticino is a style of glass decorating invented by the Murano glass masters using layers of glass formed into a Reticello pattern. Reticello is created by organizing and twisting canes of colored glass in an extremely controlled fashion to create intricate crisscross patterns.
